This Weeks Featured Artist - Hikari
This weeks featured artist does some of the coolest animating on DoInk. His movements and scenes are just amazing. We are always impressed by what he shares here on DoInk. His stick figures just do the most epic stick battles ever and we love them! This weeks featured artist is Hikari. 
Tell us about yourself, what is a typical day like?
I’m a brazilian boy that loves martial arts, japanese culture, and chocolate XD. A typical day for me is basically study, work and karate training. I also teach karate to kids. My time for drawing is running out.
How old were you when you started drawing? Ever animated anything before?
I was 16 years old when i started to drawing, now i’m 19 years old. Actually i never made animations before, I’m a terrible designer.
Do you have a favorite artist or animator?
Not a favorite but, i like very much some artists in the site.
What inspires you?
My main inspiration is the animation Avatar The Last Airbender.
Do you have a favorite cartoon and/or anime character?
My favorite is Avatar The Last Airbender and my favorite character is Anko Iroh, always with your pearls of wisdom.
What is your favorite musician or band, what are you listening to?
I love so many bands so i don’t have a favorite, but my favorite music of this week is Amy Winehouse “You know i’m no good”, and i’m also listening La Roux, Muse, Ellie Goulding, Coeur De Pirate, Hadouken!, some japanese bands like Miyavi, Larc en ciel and of course some Brazilian bands.
What are your Favorite websites, outside of DoInk?

What are your hobbies?
Fight karate but this is no longer a hobbie, it is my life.
What are your favorite Computer Game?
The Sims and Spore Creatures.
How did you find DoInk and what is your experience so far?
I found a link for Doink in a brazilian site of technology. I discovered that i was able to animate with Doink, I realized that I have talent and creativity to do something cool.
If you could add any features to DoInk, what would they be?
I don’t really know….
Any advice for other DoInk users?
In the beginning it’s hard to animate but, don’t give up keep drawing, and you will get better fast!
