This Weeks Featured Artist-Snuffengluffen
We love this weeks featured artist. He has a an amazing style, he is so creative. His Thanksgiving clips was one of our favorites and pretty much everything else that he does, we love. We even loved his Biology lesson, good for visual learners and DoInk staff members too! We think his featured clip, below, is just spectacular it is St. Basil’s Cathedral in Russia, and it is gorgeous. This weeks featured artist is Snuffengluffen.
Tell us about yourself, what is a typical day like?
I go to school, practice all my instruments A TON, and get on DoInk, of course!
How old were you when you started drawing? Ever animated anything before?
I have been drawing for as long as I can remember. Outside of DoInk, I’ve done very little animating.
Do you have a favorite artist or animator?
I love the drawing styles of Picasso, and my phenomenal art teacher, Mr. Silvers.
What inspires you?
All the random stuff that goes on with me, my friends, and my family.
Do you have a favorite cartoon and/or anime character?
I love Calvin and Hobbes, and I love all the different characters I get to see on DoInk.
What is your favorite musician or band, what are you listening to?
My favorite musician is Hilary Hahn (the violinist), and I am inspired by composers such as Brahms, Vivaldi, Bach, Wagner, and Bazzini.
What are your Favorite websites, outside of DoInk?
I use Facebook a lot, and music websites like Virtual Sheet Music and the International Music Score Library.
What are your hobbies?
Playing Violin is my favorite thing to do EVER! I also really enjoy playing clarinet, piano, mandolin, and animation too!
What are your favorite Computer Games?
I don’t play computer games much, but I do enjoy Mario (Nintendo) games.
How did you find DoInk and what is your experience so far?
I found DoInk when I got fed up with Aniboom, haha! I am amazed with the great community and exceptional site admins :)
