This week’s featured artist is incredibly talented. Even her avatar is just awesome, I love that it is fun sized! She has so much talent so many of her clips we have been blown away by. She has incredible detail and just really amazing technique. She is an inspiration to us all. This week’s featured artist is Believe.
Tell us about yourself, what is a typical day like?
My day involves waking up at 6:20AM, getting ready for the day, getting on a forty minute bus ride, going to school and learning, coming home and relaxing until four, when I start my homework, when I’m done I hop on DoInk or watch TV or go out with my family. (Also, confession time. I always pronounce DoInk like ‘Doink’ That should give you a general idea about me. Lolol.)
How old were you when you started drawing? Ever animated anything before?
I was around four when I started drawing, of course it was nothing more than a few scribbles, though! I started getting into animating things when I was eleven since it basically consists of drawing a bunch of pictures and putting them together. I animate rarely, and it typically takes me a few days to make anything worthwhile, which is why I rarely animate. :c
Do you have a favorite artist or animator?
I don’t have a favorite artist / animator at the moment, but I do enjoy all people who make pictures with salt, dominos, etc.
What inspires you?
Music and stories. Sometimes pictures if a thousand words come to mind.
Do you have a favorite cartoon and/or anime character?
Even though the animation is not the best, I do like My Little Pony. I’m not really good with favorites, and I’ve floated between liking all the characters on the show. Lolol. xD.
What is your favorite musician or band, what are you listening to?
All these favorites! Adele, especially in “Set Fire to the Rain.”
What are your Favorite websites, outside of DoInk?
iScribble.net , Facebook , Youtube , and Livestream.
What are your hobbies?
Currently I’m entertaining myself by making a animal (Fox / Wolf) mask out of foam. I also enjoy drawing, writing, and of course doing my Spanish Homework. Me gusta la clase de Español. Note some sarcasm, please. xD.
What are your favorite Computer Games?
I got Zelda - Twilight Princess for the Wii,
How did you find DoInk and what is your experience so far?
I found DoInk by typing in “Free animation program” onto Google. Google is amazing. xD.
If you could add any features to DoInk, what would they be?
“Blur” tool.
Any advice for other DoInk users?
Don’t hide body parts because you can’t draw them. Don’t avoid drawing things because you can’t draw them. If you don’t draw them, you can’t get better.
