This Week’s Featured Artist - 1inamillion
We loved this week’s Featured Artist clip for Halloween. It was a really striking clip of a woman and candy corns all around her, just orange and awesome! I also really liked her tribute to 9/11, really simple, but beautiful and moving. I love her spotlight clip of hazel eyes. Okay I love a lot of her work! We love that she is so involved in the DoInk community and part of our contests. She is an inspiration to us all. This week’s featured artist is 1inamillion.
Tell us about yourself, what is a typical day like?
My days are never typical usually, but you know, sleep in as much as possible, eat, do school, do music, or art, hang out with people
How old were you when you started drawing? Ever animated anything before?
I have seen pictures of myself holding up some stick figure drawings when I was about three, so I’d guess somewhere around there :) And before DoInk, I never really animated anything before
Do you have a favorite artist or animator?
There are really so many amazing artists on here, but granolabar, koii, captainoinkers, gkrussel, supergoateeman and Eklia are some great animators!
What inspires you?
Anything, really (I once got inspired by a napkin)
Do you have a favorite cartoon and/or anime character?
SpongeBob!!
What is your favorite musician or band, what are you listening to?
Hmm, there are too many :P I love Linkin Park, Panic! at the Disco, and Coldplay <3 and many, many more..
What are your Favorite websites, outside of DoInk?
Youtube is awesome, and Pinterest is a pretty cool site as well.
What are your hobbies?
Music definitely, drawing, fashion design, writing, climbing trees XD, a little gym, some dance, swimming and skiing!
What are your favorite Computer Games?
I’m not really much of a gamer, I’d probably just rather be outside or something.
How did you find DoInk and what is your experience so far?
My friend introduced me to doink ;)
If you could add any features to DoInk, what would they be?
Sound! Like, a microphone button or something. And a page that just finds a bunch of random artwork for you, when you have artist’s block
Any advice for other DoInk users?
I have been really impressed with how nice everyone on here has been, so… Stay awesome!!
