This Week’s Featured Artist - Raiza
We noticed this week’s featured artist with her adorable witch for our Halloween contest. We have also noticed her work and detail in other pieces too. We love her style. She has great talent and we love that she is another wonderful artist that is part of our growing international community! This week’s featured artist is Raiza.
Tell us about yourself, what is a typical day like?
Well I usually wake up early to go to university, most of the time I spend all day there.
When I go home early, I like drawing and listening to music.
How old were you when you started drawing? Ever animated anything before?
Well, I always liked to draw since childhood … I think between six and seven years, I’m
not sure. When I was little I liked to draw Saori Kido (Athena) Saint Seiya and Usagi
from Sailor Moon XD, but I only started to improve my drawings from about fifteen. ^ ^
Do you have a favorite artist or animator?
I love the designs of the morg. There are many people in here that I admire at
Doink, people that I follow.
What inspires you?
Songs inspire me and good stories.
Do you have a favorite cartoon and/or anime character?
Well, that’s a tough question, because I have a favorite character in each
anime / series I watch to quote a few: I love the kurapika, hunter x hunter, and I love
inuyasha, and I love all the characters of ouran high school host club. ^^
What is your favorite musician or band, what are you listening to?
Difficult to decide which is the favorite … but the ones I’m listening to at the moment
are christina perri-A thousand years (from the movie Breaking Down). Taylor swift - ^ ^
Back to december, regina spektor-fidelity. Addition of MPB (Brazilian popular music)
and j-pop/rock (Pop / Rock Japanese) and k-pop (Korean pop).
What are your Favorite websites, outside of DoInk?
Networking sites such as Facebook and sites to watch dramas, movies and
anime online.
What are your hobbies?
My hobbies are drawing, listening music and reading books.
What are your favorite Computer Games?
I like really cool games like Counter Strike and Mario Bros, but I have not played them in a long
time.
How did you find DoInk and what is your experience so far?
I found Doink because of morg, she showed me and sent the invitation to me. I have
enjoyed it more and more of Doink. Since I joined, I’ve enjoyed more.
If you could add any features to DoInk, what would they be?
I think it would be really cool if we could put sounds in the drawings, put a music
theme.
Any advice for other DoInk users?
Yes, we must remember that practice makes perfect. When we are dedicated to one
thing, the trend is improving.

I really liked the end result.
at the time I did not use the paint bucket, I did not know how it was used … designs
gave me more work to do.~__~
