The Featured Artist of the Week-Cirno
This weeks featured artist of the week is so talented. She makes the most beautiful and detailed drawings and animations. She is just so inspiring with her art and just a great community member too. We here at DoInk are just blown away by what she can do with our tools. The featured artist of the week is Cirno. 
Tell us about yourself, what is a typical day like?
A regular day off would be pretty boring. Chores and stuff, making breakfast, talking to friends, tv, and on some days, my brothers and I go “nerding” out playing videogames and stuff. c:
How old were you when you started drawing? Ever animated anything before?
I’ve had a love for drawing and art for most of my life! Earliest I can remember might be of when I was in preschool when I always enjoyed making crafts and designing. Actually, only recently I’ve started showing my drawings to everyone because this way, improving my work will be easier! I’m not really that awesome at animation, but I’ve done a few bits of animated pixel art, but not a lot of them have that great movement.
Do you have a favorite artist or animator?
Hidekaz Himaruya is definitely one of my heroes! His style is really unique—it’s not really just about the art, but how he treats the fans and acknowledges them despite him being busy with many other things.
What inspires you?
Life experiences, personal thoughts, distinctive traits of people I know, etc! Its fun characterizing those kinds of things!
Do you have a favorite cartoon and/or anime character?
Ivan Braginski and Raivis Galante (aka Russia and Latvia) from Hetalia! I have a strange liking for yandere characters—which really does include Raivis, you can totally see it coming—because they’re cute and I can relate! Oh and Sealand-kun and Shinatty-chan aru! Well actually, I love them all~! It’s so hard to choose just a few…
What is your favorite musician or band, what are you listening to?
Majority of what I listen happen to be eurodance and j-rock. Happy, care-free songs and deep, inspiring lyrics are my favorite!
What are your Favorite websites, outside of DoInk?
DeviantArt for my other art and a forum called FantageTips. It’s just a fan-made forum, but we’re growing and getting better! ^_^
What are your hobbies?
Drawing, snowboarding, swimming, cooking, and video games. Heh doesn’t sound so exciting.
What are your favorite Computer Game?
La Tale is win! A bunch of my friends play with me which makes it even more fun!
How did you find DoInk and what is your experience so far?
A friend of mine showed us some of his animations over in that FantageTips forum. When I saw that it was like a flash program, I got really interested. So far, I’ve seen so much impressive and amazing art! Seeing them just makes me want to keep trying better to be like that!
Any advice for other DoInk users?
Work hard and improve while having fun and love what you do!
